Fall :)

Welcome to Fall 2009! Here are a few more pics of the girls choosing their pumpkins. This was quite the process, as we searched high and low through the corn stalks :)

Earlier in the week I came home to this! Jennifer and Erika were kept pretty busy raking leaves with my dad. However, they did more "rake the leaves then jump in them" than actual work. Which is fine by me!

In fact, I felt it imperative to join them!

I love the Fall time. It's probably my favorite season of the year because it's also my birthday! I love the colors and the smell of hot chili and freshly raked leaves. Happy Autumn!

Happy Halloween 2009

Happy Halloween 2009! Here is our pumpkin carving escapade :)

Anyone recognize Mr. Chang Chang from University Mall? Hee hee!

The girls LOVED carving and painting pumpkins...

Erika loved the painting portion, but still carved with her "punkin knife"

We had our good friend, KC, helping out in the party!

I think Lexi's favorite part was digging out the goop.

However, Jen kept playing with the goop too :)

Good times, good times!!! Happy Halloween....BOO!

Lexi's 9th Birthday

Lexi and Erika both have birthdays in October, one week apart. So Lexi had a friend party on Friday and combined one with Erika on Saturday for the family. Below are pics, again in no particular order, of both parties.

Also, my sweet baby sister got her son back after 6 months of separation from him! HORRAY!

My mom working hard in the kitchen.

Boyd and Suzette were in town with the boys too. They're moving here!!

Lexi hugged all her friends after opening their gift. so sweet.

LOVE this pic of Erika. So much personality!

David (their dad) came with his girlfriend, Cindy, to the party as well.

Had to roast hotdogs in the parent's back yard.

Lexi blew out the campfire in lieu of candles.

Happy birthday Lexi! We love you!

Finally pictures from Washington!!

I remembered to put on pics of my trip to Washington! They are in no particular order...so beware (tee hee).

Darrell singing Karaoke! I did too, but no pics :)
I took Brody to the park when Bridgette was working.

Bridgette and me. You can see up my nose!

The HAIR! Go Bridgette for being such a great stylist!

My second love....Jack the German Shepherd.

And Keeneye the overgrown rat!

The neighbors....wait...there aren't any!!

The puppies, who slept in my bed with me!

Sweet Brody. He looks just like his daddy.

Awwww.....Jack.

I love my nephew!

Ephrata, Washington

I was able to visit my baby sister, Bridgette, in Ephrata Washington this last week. It was awesome! A well-deserved mini vacation just for me...no kids.

I was able to play with my nephew, Brody, who was wonderful, sleep with two doggies, Jack and Keeneye, every night and veg around when I wanted to!!

Bridgette even did my hair, which is adorable, and we got manicures to feel all girly. I met new people, sange karaoke and danced the night away Saturday.

I don't have any pictures uploaded yet, but I promise to post many soon.

Overall, it was FANTASTIC and I can't wait to go back!
